Meeting Update - October 2019

For our September meeting we returned to the village hall for a craft filled evening making lampshades. Shu Lock our talented instructor guided us through the sticking and rolling of fabric to create our handmade lampshades. Members thoroughly enjoyed this creative activity.

WI book club met at the Bull Inn on 19th September and our next book club meeting will be on 21st November 2019 @ 7.00 pm.

In October we are hosting an open meeting inviting non-members, men folk and children to attend a lecture on the “Tour of the Universe” presented by Pete Quin (Astronomer and Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and British Interplanetary Society).  Non-members and men folk £5.00 attendance charge but children are free to attend.
