Meeting Update - February 2019

Our February meeting Thursday 14th February was a Valentines special! 

Unfortunately our speaker was not able to attend so  bought Prosecco, cheese and biscuits, chocolate and had an evening of a Valentines quiz using our new projector and screen  ( many thanks to the Parish council they  will be well used  ) and games.

We particularly enjoyed a fiercely competitive game of Kubbs – like skittles, but with bouncy batons – and led to a lot of hilarity!  

Thank you to all of the ladies that have paid up their yearly subscription- - a reminder for those who have yet to pay that we can`t run your WI without these much needed funds.  

Skittle team news - We have been given another bye so we are through to the fourth round!  - at this rate we will win the cup after  just one win.

 In other news we held a lovely evening at our new WI book club set up by Anne at the Bull and now named Bull Books!  We are reading "Old Baggage "  - the next meeting will be at the Bull 21st March
